4 Steps to a Healthy, Vibrant Life

1

First Consultation

At Resilience, we give you the attention and care you deserve. Your first consultation is more of a conversation. We want to know more about your health history, symptoms, and goals. Ask us questions and share your medical frustrations.

We’re here to listen and take the first step toward a personalized treatment plan. Let’s find a solution that works for you!

3

Personalized Wellness

After gathering as much data as possible, we create a personalized wellness plan just for you. This plan will be based on our five pillars of health (more on that below). As you work with us, we aim to provide a balance between education and practical steps. We want you to understand what’s happening in your body while also making progress with practical steps.

2

Testing

Testing cannot be overlooked when uncovering why you feel sick. We want to look at your nutrition, hormones, genetics, and other factors before making any decisions. At Resilience Health and Wellness, we use the most detailed tests available and leave no stone unturned.

4

Adjustments and Follow-Up

Bodys change, and so should your wellness plan. Naturopathy and functional medicine both prioritize adaptation and flexibility. Let’s see what’s working for you and what’s not. If you end up achieving your desired outcome, let’s focus on another area of health. Chronic disease can be complex, and we work with you over the long term in order to find relief.

Our 5 Pillars of Health

While every wellness plan is unique, we believe in five pillars of health. These pillars give us a roadmap to success and make sure we provide holistic solutions. When we address every pillar, we see people’s lives transformed.

Detox

Detoxification is a fundamental pillar of health in naturopathy, focusing on eliminating toxins from the body to support overall well-being. The goal of detoxification is to cleanse the body's organs and systems, such as the liver, kidneys, and lymphatic system, by promoting their natural detoxification processes. This pillar often involves dietary changes, including the consumption of whole foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, and specific herbs or supplements known for their detoxifying properties. Additionally, practices such as saunas, hydrotherapy, and bodywork may be incorporated to enhance the body's detoxification capabilities.

Nutrition

A balanced and nourishing diet plays a key role in promoting optimal health. Naturopathy recognizes that food can be a powerful medicine that impacts physical, mental, and emotional well-being. At Resilience, you’ll receive personalized dietary recommendations tailored to your unique needs, and we’ll consider factors such as age, sex, activity level, and specific health concerns.

The focus is typically on whole, unprocessed foods that provide essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, while avoiding or minimizing processed foods, artificial additives, and allergenic substances. Naturopathic practitioners may also recommend therapeutic diets, such as anti-inflammatory or gut-healing protocols, to address specific health conditions.

Fitness

We can’t forget regular physical activity for maintaining optimal health and vitality. In naturopathy, exercise is seen as a way to support cardiovascular health, enhance circulation, strengthen muscles and bones, improve mental well-being, and promote overall vitality. It really is a holistic way to improve many areas of health. The specific exercise recommendations can vary depending on an individual's age, fitness level, and health status. Naturopathic practitioners may suggest a combination of aerobic exercises, such as walking, jogging, swimming, or cycling, along with strength training, stretching, and mindful movement practices like yoga or tai chi.

Hormones

The hormones pillar recognizes the intricate role that hormones play in maintaining balance and regulating the body’s functions. Naturopathy emphasizes the optimization of hormone levels to support overall well-being. We will provide comprehensive assessments of your hormonal health through evaluation and testing. Based on the findings, naturopathic practitioners may recommend various strategies to support hormonal balance, such as dietary modifications, targeted supplementation, stress management techniques, lifestyle adjustments, and specific herbal or homeopathic remedies. The aim is to restore hormonal equilibrium, alleviate symptoms related to hormonal imbalances, and improve overall vitality.

Mentorship and Coaching

The coaching pillar in naturopathy acknowledges the importance of guidance, support, and accountability in achieving and maintaining optimal health. Naturopathic practitioners often serve as health coaches, working closely with individuals to create personalized wellness plans and provide ongoing support throughout their health journey. This pillar involves empowering individuals to take an active role in their well-being, educating them about healthy lifestyle choices, and helping them set realistic goals. Naturopathic coaches may provide guidance on implementing dietary and lifestyle changes, creating healthy habits, managing stress, improving sleep patterns, and cultivating a positive mindset. The coaching pillar fosters a collaborative relationship between the practitioner and the individual, focusing on long-term sustainable changes for improved health and wellness.
